Van Svenson
Van entered the world of sports cars in 1995 when he bought a [basket case] Porsche 914. In 1996 he entered the world of sports car driving after buying a Porsche 944 that was actually road-worthy and learning how to autocross. In 1997 he decided to try a HPDE (high performance driver's ed) at Lime Rock. It was love-at-first-sight and he would spend every available weekend (and dollar) at the track progressing through the skill levels. A look at some of his achievements:
